Many people stumbling across this site might be thinking "I thought all barbershop was sung by quartets?"

As Barbershop is four part harmony, it has to be sung by a minimum of four people, but there is no upper limit on the number of singers. Barbershop certainly had its beginnings rooted in quartet singing, but this naturally evolved into larger groups (chorus) singing in four parts. Each has a different role to play in the field of entertainment and each requires a slightly different singing technique, although the Barbershop disciplines remain unchanged.

The Quartet is a versatile combination, being suitable to entertain at the most intimate of gatherings as well as being completely at home on the large stage at prestigious events. Capital Connection, consisting of around 35 singers, is a quality chorus whose powerful, rich sound, combined with entertaining presentation, will knock the socks off the audience in a larger venue!
